Griff rents his cabin out to Amy, who is running away for a few moths. Waking from his winter hibernation, he quickly realises who she is. He also realises the threat that the lion pride poses to him, his mountain, and his mate. Short! So deliciously short! 2 hours, 16 minutes listening time, probably only about an hour's reading. It saw my through the laundry, through cleaning and into lunch :-) Amy doesn't know about Griff's alter ego, the bear, not until he tells her. BUt I liked that she didn't get it on her own. I liked that she held her own when the lion attacked, and that she didn't run away when Griff revealed his bear. I LOVED being kept waiting for the mating! Yes ma'am, I did! In such a short book (65 pages) it could happen far too quickly but not here. It's not until right near the end do they get it together! Jason P Hilton narrates. He has narrated work by Ms Adrienne before, they work well together. His voices are sufficiently different so you know who is talking, and all the voices are clear. His reading voice is lovely to listen to! I hope its not the last combination of these two! I would like to read stroke listen to a longer work by Ms Adrienne. The ones I have reviewed have been shorts. A longer, more gripping read would be great. Especially if Mr Hilton narrates. Would be great to see what he does with more characters. As I said, short, far too short, and even though this is an audio review, I'm filing it on the short story shelf, and the hang over cure shelf. 4.5 for the story 4.5 for the narration.
