I struggled to give this book even three stars. I'm afraid it just didn't tick any boxes for me. I found the explanation of every term condescending and patronising at best, with the author assuming his readers had the knowledge of a gnat. The story thoughts of the future really weren't a new vision, just a regurgitated mixture of every conspiracy theory in years. I didn't find much to like in the characters except, maybe Christophe. Though everyone is painted as antichrist follower or a foolish deluded Christian. I desperately wanted to find a redeeming feature in this book, and I really absolutely didn't.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *
My first book was born during the last year of high school for me. I called it the Subterfuge from the Top Down. The project was my self-discovery labor of love where I grew a passion for fiction writing and story telling. Ever since then I haven't looked back. Politics, speculative near-future sci-fi, and military themes form the backbone of my authorship. It's my never-ceasing imagination that has taken me on this journey to see the Before the End Series to completion. More than just entertaining the reader, my writing hopefully will be thought provoking.
