She takes my breath away; she is so beautifully damaged. Yes I had broken her, ravished her life, destroyed her happiness. I brought her to ultimate despair. I was responsible for all the pain and suffering that now brought her to her knees in front of me. Broken. Hopeless. Reckless in her agony. She is a mirror of my own tortured soul. But what I took away I can give back. In ways she cannot even begin to imagine. She is everything right in all my wrongs. She loves me. She needs me. She has no idea I’m the one who wrecked her life. ** Vandal is a dark romance with light BDSM. He is emotionally damaged and manipulative, but still wants love. This book deals with death, grief, deception, substance abuse, depression, and graphic sex. If this is not your thing, you can skip this book and move onto the next in the series and you will not be lost. Vandal is not the sweetheart that the other guys in Ashes & Embers are - but even the dark and damaged deserve to be loved, right? **

Another imperfectly perfect Valentine. Another broken, beaten man who found love. A story about a tattooing rock band member who deep down just needs to be loved. This story is beyond words. It's absolutely perfectly written in so many ways. One of my favorite things about this author is that her characters are broken, beaten, and can't get much lower. They are "ugly" but yet their story is so beautiful. They are anything but simple characters. They will reach out and grab your heart before you know it, leaving you gasping at straws once the book ends. Don't say I didn't warn you. This story, in my opinion, is the darkest yet. It is full of incredibly written bedroom scenes. It contains BDSM. It contains the foul mouthed Valentine boys that we all know and love. I think if the author would have tried to make Vandal anything different, the story wouldn't have been a success. Now, I was shocked more than not while reading this story. There were multiple times in which I was open mouthed, gasping for air, wondering why in the world that just happened. It is those moments that make this book worth reading, as well as many, many, many other reasons. The biggest factor for me is that it felt real. It felt genuine. It was absolutely soul shattering and yet perfect. The ending sucked. It only sucked because it leaves you hanging and just begging Carian to know what happens next for the characters. So in reality, the ending was perfection. Please, do me a favor, and start reading these books!

I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts. My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.
My first novel in the Ashes & Embers series, Storm, was published in September of 2014, with several more of this series planned throughout 2015 and 2016.
Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.
