After her mother's murder, Synergy is introduced to a world she never knew existed. One that has a price on her head. One with the sexy police detective called Kanai, who may be the only one who can help her control her ever-growing powers. I'm not really sure I liked this book. And I can't really say why! It wasn't bad, just not great. It takes a while to get going, to warm up, with a lot of ground laying from people who don't really appear at all after this beginning and I did question why they had a say, and what they had to say too. There are, in my opinion and in my copy at least, far too many minor spelling mistakes, editing errors, and sentences that don't make much sense, for me not to mention it, and it did affect my reading of this book. And it ends on a cliff hanger. Which actually came at the point where I was starting to enjoy it! So there is more to come from Synergy and Kanai, from Syn's father and her newly found family. And from those who wish to harm Syn. BUT!!! Will I read it? I don't know. I really can't say at this moment in time, having just finished this one that I would want to. At a later date, maybe the answer will be different. 3 stars

I like to write whatever is on my mind but I like to explore with my writing. I like to have my books feel like your inside them as the actual characters. I like my characters to be strong. Sex is important between loving people therefore all my books contain graphic scenes but are not classified as erotica. The character's themselves have more basis.
