I was looking forward to this book as it is described as "violent, sexy, and occasionally violently sexy." It seemed like it would be a dark and gritty book, veering away from the 'lighter' vampires and taking them back into the black. However, for me, it just didn't do it. There was something missing. I read the whole book but only because I wanted to see if I could find what was missing.
There are some good parts to the book and some not so good. I wouldn't describe this book as sexy although there is a lot of sex and orgasms in it. Best I can say, is try it for yourself. You might like it.
