M/M, Paranormal, Romance

Orphaned and scared, these cubs need an Alpha…and so do their caregivers. Cast out of their wolf pack, Jock and Gus are skinny and wild but surviving okay out in the Colorado mountains. Winter is on its way, and Gus isn’t sure what they can do to stay warm and fed. To add to their problems, they’ve adopted a litter of abandoned wolf cubs, and suddenly there’s not enough food to go around. Archer, a forest ranger and Alpha wolf, finds Jock and Gus in time to save them from Jack Frost, and from themselves. The moment he meets the two young males, he wants them, and he sets out to convince them to stay. Jock understands that Archer is what they need, but Gus intends to fight Archer every step of the way. He has to—it’s in his genes. Can Archer keep this new family safe, from the elements and each other?

3 out of 5 (good)
Needing to Breathe is both the first book in the Two Is Never Enough series, and also the first book by this author that I have read.
The set up is very simple, the characters uncomplicated. Jock and Gus were kicked out of their old Pack for being gay. They have set up camp in a National Park and are surviving the only way they know how. Trouble blows in when the find the torn apart body of a female wolf, and her litter of 3 pups. Jock and Gus take them to their 'home' and try to look after them the best they can. They are found by Archer, a Park Ranger and also a wolf himself.
For me, the best part of the book is when Gus and Archer have a fight to determine their status. This actually felt more 'real' than the rest of it, with insta-love running abundant.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quick afternoon read with nothing too deep.

Paranormal, Romance

He’s here on vacation. They’re here for him. Two Is Never Enough, #2 Samson and Dane are werewolves who act as guardians of their pack. They're also lovers, but they both long for the third person they know will make their home whole. Their Chosen. Ryan has no idea he's even a werewolf. He's visiting rural New Mexico and Colorado to write horror novels, not get it on with the two hottest men he's ever met. So why can't he keep his hands off them, and why is biting suddenly so hot? Can Samson and Dane convince Ryan that he's like them, and that he needs to leave his city life behind?

3 out of 5 (good)
Claiming Their Mate is the second book in the Two is Never Enough series, but can be read as a standalone as all the characters and places are different.
Samson and Dane are both Enforcers with their Pack. They are travelling back to their Packlands, when they stop for something to eat. They immediately smell Ryan, and make a play for him. He doesn't know that he is a wolf, and is far removed from them. He waxes, he is a vegetarian, and he certainly isn't as rough and ready as they are.
Once again, the attraction is off the charts, and the love instantaneous. Samson and Dane are determined that he is theirs, and they don't really give him a say in the matter. It's a good job that he is on board with their ideas (although not all the time).
With the majority of the book taken up with Samson and Dane's chase of Ryan, and the Claiming, there isn't much else to mention. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to read a hot shifter M/M/M story, without having to know or want detail upon detail given.

Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy's Girl, BA Tortuga spends her days with her basset hounds, getting tattooed, texting her sisters, and eating Mexican food. When she's not doing that, she's writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting and surfing porn sites in the name of research. BA's personal saviors include her partner, Julia Talbot, her best friend, Sean Michael, and coffee. Lots of coffee. Really good coffee. Having written everything from fist-fighting rednecks to hard-core cowboys to werewolves, BA does her damnedest to tell the stories of her heart, which was raised in Northeast Texas, but is feeling the Colorado mountains calling. With books ranging from hard-hitting GLBT romance, to fiery menages, to the most traditional of love stories, BA refuses to be pigeon-holed by anyone but the voices in her head.
