Four hundred years in the future, a post apocalyptic society emerges. Within this community, one who is different awaits his destiny of controlling the powers of the life giving Moon. Another waits to steal the power and return life to its greed ridden ways. Will the thief of Moon's powers overcome Moon Child and change the world forever?

3 out of 5 (good)
I enjoyed this book once I got the setting 'right' in my head. It appears to have a dystopian twist to it. Once I had sorted that out, I sat back and enjoyed. I loved the flow of the story and the magical extras that were part of the story. The ending did confuse me and I had to re-read as it twisted a bit and I had to make sure I wasn't mixing up Moon Child with Mean Child. If you want to read something that is gentle and slightly different, then I can happily recommend this one.
