Palace of Scoundrels continues with Matthias and Danae's story. They have now been married for over six months, seeing each other every night courtesy of their matching mirrors, but Danae is still not pregnant. This is a part of their storyline, but doesn't monopolise it. Intermingled with that, you have a betrothal with an unwilling bride who is in love with someone else, plus a prince accused of poisoning his brother.
With such a full and intricate tale being told, you could forgive Nicola Cameron for dropping the ball with one of the storylines. However, no forgiveness is necessary as every single story is fully completed and fleshed out, without it becoming dreary reading. Every character, whether in Ypres or Hellas (or indeed any other place mentioned), is complete in every way, whether they are "supporting" or "main" characters. The Two Thrones series is a wonderful Fantasy Romance with plenty of action and steam.
Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, I can most definitely recommend this book! Absolutely loved every moment of it, and am looking forward to reading more by this author.
