There are some f**ked up people in the world, unfortunately, the worst kind ended up destroying my life. My wife had been murdered and I made it my mission to find out why and by whom. But when the ‘why’ and the ‘whom’ invaded my small town, my house, my life, and turned it upside down, it brought more death and devastation. When you don’t know your enemy it’s hard to know who to trust. I had the greatest religion on earth on one side and a mad man on the other. I was stuck in the middle. My name is Gabriel. I had a perfect life, a perfect wife, and now I am fighting for justice. A dark, epic thriller for readers over the age of 18.

Holy … !!! This book. What did I just read? This book had my mind all over the place. It threw me through so many loops I lost count. Every single time I had a tiny idea what was going to happen, boy was I wrong. The author threw so many curveballs at you that you are bound to be sucker punched by at least a couple of them. Hands down, this was the best mystery/thriller/suspense book I’ve read in a very, very long time.

I could expect nothing less when it comes to the detail and descriptions. Just a phenomenal as her curveballs were, her descriptions and details really put this story over the edge. I can’t think of a spot that needed better detail to understand what was going on. I can say that the author’s details and descriptions made my sit on edge, numerous times. Her ability to write such a phenomenal story made me shut out life for a little while. I was completely and utterly engrossed into the story.

This story line is nothing but twisted. It’s evil, dark, tragic, and so intriguing. It’s a story that will suck you in and will sink its claws into you so deep that even when you read the last word, and set the story down, it will linger with you. It will cause you to double check your doors, double check that sound you heard but pushed out of your mind, and will keep you looking over your shoulder. You never know who you can trust!

There are seven deadly sins, so they say. Pride, Envy, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Sloth, and Greed. We are guilty of them all. But what happens when someone decides to become judge, jury, and executioner of those that commit these sins? Detective Mich Curtis is thrown back into a world he thought he’d managed to struggle out of. It started as a simple murder case to solve – it became a fight to survive. Seven sins, seven murders – who will be the last man standing? The executioner or the only person fucked up enough to get inside his mind?

What a total mind f**k. This book was insane. It was crazy. It was gruesome. It was a perfectly written thriller suspense that leaves you on the edge of your seat the entire story, hanging on the last sentence. This author has the ability to write a story that keeps you hanging, keeps you guessing, and keeps you grasping for ideas, page after page.

Her ability to write such vivid details and descriptions is top notch. It’s absolutely incredible. You won’t have a single moment where you’re scratching your head guessing what’s happening. She lays it out for you, word for word, just like a perfect painting. The story details are crazy. The characters are equal part crazy and insane. The story feels like I stepped into an episode of Criminal Minds for lack of a better description. I happen to absolutely love the show but I only reference the story because her writing mimics the way in the tv show the characters get together and try to solve the case and the steps they take in getting information and solving it. I think the author did an absolute phenomenal job researching and having the ability to write such a great story.

So, would I recommend this book? You betcha! However, first, I definitely recommend to read her story “Gabriel” as it is referenced several times in this book, then prepare yourself for a wild ride. I cannot wait for book two to come out, without a question; I will for sure be reading it. I have to know more. I’m addicted to this authors writing now.
