Picking up the pieces is something Summer Stevenson is becoming a pro at. Just when she thinks she can take a moment to breathe and digest her new reality, something is revealed, causing Summer to question what she thought was real. The puzzle pieces have finally fallen into place for Brooke Brazile. To know Brooke is to witness her need for constant perfection and control. Unfortunately, she will learn that control is a false concept and will be knocked down a few pegs on the totem pole of humility. It’s about time that Amber Hamilton looks inward for answers and not down the trousers of a man. Now that she’s in the shoes of someone living the good life, Amber begins to question the path she took that led her to the place at which she lies her head at night. After enduring a few sad and shaky months, Emily Gray has cleansed herself of negative energy and is ready to move on. She can’t believe that she’ll be getting the life that she’s always wanted. When she least expects it, her resilience will be put to the test. Emily will quickly realize her strength when timing rears its ugly head. After the rough year they’ve endured, playtime is over for these ladies. See how it all ends when the ladies of DC are left to make choices that will reflect each of their maturity levels.

I have reviewed all 3 books now and dawn they are the best books by far.
The last in the trilogy I am so excited that I got to review all 3 books for dawn they keep you on your toes with all the twists and turns.
All 4 ladies have got all sorts of problems from marriages to revenge in mind to insecurities with themselves to discovering that they aren’t who they make out they are but all 4 ladies know that they have one thing that could never break and that is friendship and loyalty to each other.

Contemporary romance/drama author, Dawn Wright, was born in a place that she refuses to share with people--with the exception of close friends. Hint: It is in the USA. Currently, she lives in Alexandria, VA.
At the age of three years old, Dawn started to teach herself how to read and write. She's an eighties baby, so the first series she'd ever read was Sweet Pickles. And if she wasn't reading, she was probably listening to opera music, if not catching glimpses of The Young and the Restless--which she still watches to this day!
Looking back, she refers to herself as a little nerd back in her childhood days. Since she grew up with two older brothers and and her mom, going to preschool wasn't an option on a single-parent budget. So, she had educational toys handy and endless Barbie toys that fell in her lap from an unknown source. However, just like today, no matter how much she likes to let her hair down, she always makes time for educationing herself. So aside from coffee, sugar and water, her other addiction is researching random people, issues or things. However, writing will always remain her top addiction and passion.
Dawn Wright currently has a trilogy in the works. While it's already written and the first book, Capital Encounters, is already out, she is working on incorporating her editors' corrections for the second book, Capital Consequences. She loves forbidden and twisted storylines, since her belief is that fiction is fake, and we should have fun with it!
