Im so glad that this is the first in the series! I was hooked straight away and disturbed by the mouse.....
I like Rowan (a feisty young necromancer) even though she makes some questionable decisions. It all adds to her charm though. It's great how she's willing to go to any length for her twin brother Abel.
The chemistry between Rowan and Indigo is quite compelling, you can tell how he feels about her and how she feels about him, even though she's still hurting from him leaving.
This is a fab young adult book that would be a great start to a t.v. or film series. It ticks plenty of boxes including romance, danger, action and werewolves.
I like how questions I hadn't thought of were answered and had the story weaving together. Each character brings a little more to the story, even the really minor characters as they give a more rounded idea of what's happening, why it's happening and showing different aspects of personalities.
I can't wait for the next book in the series!
