A Little Christmas: Blake by Wendy Rathbone

Can a Christmas miracle make Blake’s secret dream come true?

Blake has no one. His boyfriend cheated on him and left without a word taking almost everything in the apartment. His boss fired him. He’s behind on the rent and Christmas is coming.

But there is one man, Eliot, always impeccably dressed, always with a nice word, who keeps running into him. Blake knows him as a regular at the diner where he used to work. The man was a great tipper.

Eliot asks him out. Blake accepts. When his date shows up in a gleaming Rolls Royce to pick him up and Blake is wearing only his best jeans and an old sweater, shivering in the new falling snow, he realizes Eliot is way out of his league.

He can’t possibly go on this date now. He’s not good enough. Worse, if Eliot were to ever find out his secret, that Blake has a little side and an impossible dream to one day call a lover “daddy” and not get smacked or laughed at for it, Eliot would probably never want to see him again.

But it’s Christmastime, and Eliot is a surprisingly persuasive guy, not to mention full of his own sweet secrets. This is the time of year when things have a way of working out, but can Blake let down his barriers long enough to see the special truth between them?

Contemporary holiday gay romance, age gap, billionaire, rescue, comfort from the cold, HEA. This is an MM daddy/little Christmas twist on The Little Princess Classic tale. Each age play romance book in this multi-author series can be read as a standalone.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS: BLAKE starts off the A Little Christmas series for me. In it, Blake is left in a dire situation through no fault of his own. Luckily for him, a Christmas miracle called Eliot makes everything just right.

The thing I loved so much about this book is that neither of them were really in the lifestyle. Neither of them knew for sure, not until they were together and then it clicked. My heart broke for Blake as he recounted some of his experiences of being laughed at, whilst my heart melted (and broke) for Eliot and everything he wanted and needed to do, plus his poor dad. I'm really hoping these guys show up in future books, just so I can find out about his dad.

The pacing is perfect, the focus on these two characters, and the story flowed, keeping my attention from beginning to end. Low angst but high feeling. This was a sweet and loving story that gives you the warm Fuzzy's. I loved every word and have no hesitation in HIGHLY recommending this book.

A Little Christmas: Terrence: Age Play Gay Romance by JP Sayle

Terrence only wants one gift for Christmas: Warner.

The discovery of Terrence’s secret leaves him vulnerable when his father goes missing in action. Ill-equipped to deal with the fall-out, Terrence’s world comes crashing down on him. Then Warner steps in to help.

Warner secretly craves to reveal what he hides beneath the tough exterior to Terrence after stumbling over the secret the boy hides. When an opportunity presents itself, Warner has to choose between his friendship with Terrence’s father and giving in to his feelings. Close proximity proves too much to resist, and Warner has to decide if he will risk everything for love.

A Little Christmas: Terrence is an MM Daddy/Little Christmas twist on the Little Princess Classic. Each age play romance book can be read as a standalone.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS: TERRENCE is part of the A Little Christmas series and this one is by J.P. Sayle - a firm favourite author of mine. It seems that no matter the genre or trope, she manages to bring a story to life, making the reader care or dislike the characters as per her wishes. Terrence is no different.

From the very beginning, I was hooked by this book. From the gift fairy bringing a squishy, to the trauma of being discovered. My nerves were on tenterhooks, heart pounding, for poor Terrence. Although I was sorry for what happened to the rest of the staff, the maid who found Terrence didn't get a second thought. That was private and shouldn't have been shared by her with anyone, let alone slimy Jerry.

Warner was everything I wanted him to be. More importantly, he was everything Terrence needed him to be! Caring and nurturing, he supported Terrence and guided him, although Warner himself sometimes needed some guidance from Austin.

This was a gorgeous read, set over Christmastime but that didn't overpower the story between them. I really hope Austin has his own story. This sad Daddy needs a boy of his own. HIGHLY recommended by me.

A Little Christmas: Jacob: An MM Age Play Christmas Romance by TL Travis

For Jacob Shelton, life was anything but conventional, having been born with a silver spoon in his mouth even though it was a loveless existence.

Jacob hoped there was more to life than money and was about to find out the hard way.

Richard Worthington longs for a boy of his own. One to nurture and care for, pamper and spoil. His friends in the lifestyle found their forever partners, so why’s it so difficult for him to find the same? Sugar baby after sugar baby leaves Richard wondering if it’s worth it.

Their paths cross in a chance meeting, though it’s a life-or-death decision that ultimately brings them together.

This is an MM daddy/little Christmas twist on The Little Princess Classic tale. Each age-play romance book in this multi-author series can be read as a standalone.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS: JACOB tells the sad story of Jacob being passed from pillar to post from birth. Sent off to Boarding School at a young age, he never saw his father again. Things went as well as can be expected for him at school until his father got arrested. Then the Headmistress really comes into her own and Jacob ends up being kicked to the curb on Christmas Day when he turns eighteen. Luckily for him, after a rocky time, Richard finds him and saves his life. Under Richard's care and guidance, Jacob realises just who and what he is.

I did enjoy this story and found it to be a great addition to the Little Christmas series but it just didn't work as well for me as some of the others. Jacob was definitely broken and Richard was the one to mend him, with plenty of loving care. There was something about Jacob that didn't sit right with me whereas I found Richard to be a sweetie.

The pacing is smooth with some tender and hot scenes. I think this is the first book by this author I have read and I will definitely read some more. I don't know what it was about Jacob that didn't work, but it certainly hasn't put me off this author or Daddy/littles. Recommended by me.

A Little Christmas: Sawyer by R.A. Frick

Sawyer: I miss my Daddy, especially when the plot of Die Hard becomes my life…

When my doting parents died suddenly, I also found out they lost everything. Two years after becoming homeless as a teen, I met the man who helped me get into college and became my Daddy Dylan. Together five years, we have never spent Christmas together, and this year I need him more than ever.

Daddy Dylan: I miss my boy, but I have a surprise or two for him!

Being in the Marines, I haven't seen my boy in over a year, and I hate to miss another Christmas together. We’d spent more time apart than together in their relationship, but I plan to change that. I don’t get to enjoy the surprise like I wanted when my arrival turns into a rescue mission. A Little Christmas: Sawyer contains Age Play, but Sawyer is a Middle, no ABDL. It also has the level of violence and cussing you should expect from seeing a Die Hard movie.

4 out of 5 (very good)

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS: SAWYER is a homage to one of the ultimate Christmas movies - Die Hard! In it, we have Sawyer and Holly, two littles who spend most of their time without their Daddies. Holly doesn't have a permanent one yet, and Sawyer's is a marine, so not with him most of the time. That's all well and good until a family with a grievance take everyone at the Christmas party hostage.

This is definitely one of the more action-packed Little Christmases and, to be plain, it felt as though a little of the connection between the MC's was lost in the action. It is also heavier on the BDSM side than the others I have read. Whilst a thrilling read, it appears the caring/nurturing Daddies are the ones that tick more of the boxes for me. The pacing and the story arc were smooth, giving you time to get to know the supporting characters and what role they play.

This was still a great story and a wonderful addition to the series. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

A Little Christmas: Danny by Sue Brown

A Daddy has a choice: power and influence or the love of a sweet boy. Which does he choose? Could he have both?

Finally! Daddy Romeo is thrilled to receive his invitation to the Christmas Ball at Little Heart Manor. It isn’t just any Christmas Ball. It is an entrée to an exclusive Daddy/boy club and now the invite is in his hands. Now he’s someone and the invitation proves it.

Danny dreads this time of year. Christmas reminds him of everything he lost three years ago. He’ll spend the festive season being ill-treated by all the members of the club. Once he had been the premier little of the club, but now he’s no one and the bruises prove it.

Daddy Romeo discovers all is not what it seems beneath the sparkling surface of the club when he meets sweet Danny, who wears his pain beneath his smile. And Danny sees a way out of the club for the first time in years when he meets the gentle Daddy with the kind eyes.

Will they have to sacrifice their deepest desire to be together?

This is an MM Daddy/Little Christmas twist on the Little Princess Classic. Each age play romance book can be read as a standalone.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS: DANNY takes a leaf out of Cinderella's story. Danny was the pampered prince until his parents died and, according to the Will, left him nothing. However, Danny doesn't believe that and will stay, to the detriment of his health, to try and find the proper Will. Danny's uncle Josiah and his boy, Billy, do everything they can to make him leave but Danny is stubborn.

I loved this story! Danny is a sweetheart with a spine of steel. I know he thinks he has nowhere else to go, but to stay there and suffer the abuse as he did... wow. Romeo is caring and concerned about Danny. He can't believe that the other members of this so-called exclusive club could turn their back on him. He does have a wobble but, ultimately, he comes through.

I adored Romeo and his friends. I loved the whole story but after reading about Griff, Jem, etc., I need to find out which books they are in by this author. Josiah and Billy got what they deserved as far as I am concerned!

A brilliant addition to the series, and HIGHLY recommended by me.

A Little Christmas: Morrie by B. Ripley

I’ve never made a Christmas wish, but if I could, I’d ask Santa for a Daddy who understands me.

I learned early on in life that gentle hands and friendly smiles can hide darkness underneath. I shy away from cuddles and hugs and refuse to let anyone get too close to me. It’s safer if they stay away and I don’t mind putting up as many barriers as I can to keep everyone out of my space.

When Scott walks into The Red Door nightclub on the one night of the week I let myself be who I really am inside, everything changes. I’m drawn to his kindness, but his patience and understanding are what shine through the most. Scott promises me a Christmas like I’ve never seen before and I want to believe in the joy of mistletoe kisses, hot chocolate by the fireplace and the warmth that comes from just being near him, but it all seems to good to be true.

Is Scott just another Grinch coming to snatch away everything I love or will he prove to be the Daddy of my dreams?

MORRIE is part of the Little Christmas series and I loved it from start to finish. Morrie has his issues and Scott is just the person to help him work through them. Scott doesn't push and gives Morrie time and space to figure out what he needs or wants to do. Their relationship is warm and fuzzy from the beginning. Morrie is quite clear on what he can and can't do and Scott is supportive of that.

This is the first book by this author I have read, although I can guarantee it won't be the last. I really need Perry and Silas to get together, plus Russ needs his own partner. Plus, I need to read Hobie and Ambrose's story. I'm hooked!

Heartbreaking, tender, supportive, loving - all these words describe this book. It was an absolute delight and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
