Shifter Woods: Growl (Esposito County Shifters #3) by Nicola M. Cameron

@billieb1986,

@Bethb19861, @YesItsNicolaC,

I knew he was trouble from the first moment I saw him. But I couldn't resist trouble…
Life in Esposito County, NM is good for cougar shifters like me. I have a job, a fine little girl, and all the peace and quiet I could want. But when a tiger shifter/FBI agent with a honey-sweet Cajun accent and the body of a Greek god showed up asking for help, I couldn’t say no.
Especially when I looked into those gorgeous amber eyes. I was lost.
Next thing I know, I’m in bed with him. Then I get involved in his case and someone starts hunting both of us. If that wasn’t enough, I’m starting to hear his thoughts. That only happens with bonded couples, and there’s no way I can be mated to this gorgeous outsider.
Or is there?

This is book number 3 of the Esposito county shifters series. Although it belongs to a series I feel it can be read as a stand-alone as you can understand what each character is to the story. I haven't read any of the other books in this series but I am interested in looking into reading the others.
I like Nicola as an author whatever she is doing in a story she seems to give with all her heart and make you feel that character's story.
This is a very steamy story with a lot of intimacy so if you blush easily then this is not a book for you! If you don't, go for it! I guarantee you will enjoy! It also has the element of danger and suspense with a bit of magic in there too.
I recommend it highly.

Nicola Cameron is a married woman of a certain age who really likes writing about science fiction, fantasy, and romance. When not writing about those things, she likes to make Stuff™. And she may be rather fond of absinthe.
While possessing a healthy interest in romance (and sex) since puberty, it wasn’t until 2012 that she decided to write about it. The skills picked up during her SF writing career transferred quite nicely to speculative romance. Her To Be Written work queue currently stands at around nineteen books, and her mojito-sodden Muse swans in from Bali every so often to add to the list, cackling to herself all the while.
When not working, she’s usually making Stuff™, kissing her husband, or entertaining her cats.
