Karyn is unaware of how her life will change when she enters Don’t Spill the Beans late one afternoon. There, she will meet Chase and later, his family. She will grow to know and the matriarch of the family, Antonia. She will learn of the six wishes she carries within her heart. Karyn will witness the fulfillment of these wishes during the Christmas Season.

This is a feel-good story with captivating characters. They are multi-dimensional and vulnerable. They will display how love can overcome the many obstacles that life may place in your path. You will fall in love with the Lovelace family and want to take them home with you.

4 out of 5 (very good)

SIX WISHES is a sweet story that revolves around our main character, Karyn, and the man she meets, together with his family.

Told from the first perspective in present time, you see through Karyn's eyes as each of the characters tell their story, and see how they interconnect and overlap with others. Each of them has history, some of which is in the past, some of which is carried with them.

This was a gentle read that I read in one sitting. Whether the things that happen could ever happen in 'real' life remains to be seen. Still, this was worth the read and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

From as far back as I can remember growing up my grandmother proudly told me of our linage to the Native Americans. While the details are sketchy and my personal research has not unlocked the keys to my ancestry, the desire to know my heritage is very strong

Several years ago I began to study the culture of our Native people. For as long as I can remember there was something very tender and enigmatic about a people who knew and respected the earth in a way that history now holds sacred in her keeping.

The more I researched, the more captivated I became. The way of life of the indigenous people inspired me. I felt compelled to share a story of love in the purest of all forms, without human boundaries. It is a story of devotion that does not question logic. It is a story of love that conquers all prejudice and misconception. It is tale of commitment that clearly illustrates the true spirit of unconditional love. It is what is in the heart that really matters the most. It is what is in the soul that truly lives on.

The Spirits of Nature is my first published novel.
