What ‘Things’ Are You Talking About?

Smashbomb will allow you to recommend and discover new entertainment (you probably weren’t looking for) from your followers and those you follow. We are talking anything! Products, Movies, Places, Books, Apps, Services, Websites, Games, Youtube Channels, Tech, Restaurants, Things To Do, Gigs, Musicals, Things To Do, Food and Drink and more…

Smashbomb is an online reviewing site for pretty much everything! - from Apps to YouTube, and lots in between. It is available in both PC and Mobile format, which makes it handy if you're on the go. The database is HUGE with TV shows, movies, books, etc., already there but, if there is something you can't find, then it is easy enough to add it. There is a Kudos system, by which if someone likes what you've done (added something, written a review) then they can give you a kudo. You can also get sparkly little badges to add to your profile, in each of the different categories.

For those of us with more than just a couple of review, you can pull your reviews through automatically from Goodreads. If you want to use it for something other than books (or as well as), you can also import automatically from sites such as IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.

You can also do polls, add #Giveaways, make your own lists. They also have a category called Famous Favourites where you can follow and see posts about your favourite celebrities. It's all here and it's #FREE. Also, if you think of something they haven't done, send them a message and it will get added for consideration. How cool is that?!

All in all, I love Smashbomb. It allows me to add and review pretty much anything I want. And find some great sites and/or users too.

I like Smashbomb, I like it a lot. I wish more authors used it. It's easy enough to use, without complicated steps to post a review. It's also quite easy to list an item, if it's not already there.
What I like most about it, is it's not just for books, although that's what I use it for. What I dislike the most? I'm still not sure about the points thing!
