@Archaeolibrary, @debbiereadsbook, @RafeJadison,
As an ex-marine and a bookstore owner, Alex Kitteridge is not the kind of guy to lose his cool, at least until he meets Roderick Levine, a high powered lawyer with an attitude and a passion for blaring his vehicle horn. When he makes the mistake of taking his anger out on Alex, Roderick finds that he has messed with the wrong guy. What starts as a grocery store argument soon explodes into a passionate night in steamy showers, moving vans, and locker rooms, with a sexual tension that neither of these two men can deny. But what happens when it's all over? Could the jackass from the grocery store turn out to be something more, or was Alex just held captive?

A short book, but an intense one.
Roderick kidnaps Alex, after a bit of road rage, but then lets him go, leaving notes for him to follow, or leave. Alex chooses to follow and there follows a bit of an awakening for them both.
Roderick had never done anything like this before, but the attraction he has to Alex is powerful and brings out a NEED in him that Roderick needs to satisfy. When Alex leaves in the morning, Roderick then follows Alex, to try to see if there could be more than this one-night stand.
I liked that it's intense between them, straight away. The attraction packs a powerful punch to Alex, as well as Roderick and in a way they didn't see coming.
Both Roderick and Alex have a say, but I thought Alex had the majority voice, indeed, I did not think Roderick would get a voice at first.
It's well written, and well delivered. I found it a smexy way to pass an hour. It just didn't blow me away.

Rafe Jadison is the author of Seduced by Shark Shifters, Seduced by Shark Shifters II: Logan’s Tail, Seduced by Shark Shifters III: Tom’s Turn, Reap This, Blake Blacks Out, and Peter Passenger and the Mothman. He has a great love of the water and of people, and he hopes that shows in his writing. He has lived most of his life by the water and knows just how magical a place it can be, and what wonderful things can happen there. It is this magical association with the water that inspires him to continue writing the By the Water series. In the Oh, So Happy Holiday series, Rafe hopes to celebrate many different people and the wide and wonderful variety of things that they believe in. The Differing Sexuality Series, is designed to showcase those people who romance novels and erotica frequently forget.
