It is the wild, decadent and sexually charged 80s, and Diego Ortega is a rock guitar god. He is loved, adored and worshiped by screaming, sex-crazed groupies, obsessed fans and over-zealous admirers. Wherever the great guitar god goes, love struck and fanatical women rip open their shirts and plant aggressive kisses on his lips. Diego seems to have it all until fate suddenly grips him in the guise of an antique Fender Stratocastor. Though he is warned by its owner that the instrument is cursed, Diego refuses to take no for an answer, but will he pay the ultimate price? Falling in love with the Strat, and the mysterious woman who begins to visit nightly, he and his guitar rock the stage. It isn't until the instrument begins to leave a bloody trail everywhere he goes that Diego realizes the curse is real, and his mystery lover's life is also at stake. In an instant, it becomes a choice between destroy or be destroyed, but will Diego have the strength?

Independent Reviewer for Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Diego is a god. a rock god, no less. He buys an antique Fender Stratocaster guitar with a twenty thousand dollar price tag, and a warning. It's cursed. He doesn't believe in such things, until people are being harmed by the guitar, and a strange woman visits him at night. When those visits take a darker turn, Diego knows he has to do something, but what? Only a god can break a curse. oh, but he is a god!

Far too short!

45 minutes reading time, for me and I'm left wanting more.

More of Diego. More of the guitar, because, clearly, it has a mind of it's own. More of the woman and how she came to be attached to the guitar. Simply, more!!

I liked the ending though! Because I don't know if that means the cycle is starting again, or something entirely different might happen. Again, I'm left wanting more!

I'd like to read something else by this author, something longer, with multiple points of view.
