Romy, a rare rhino, is abducted as a child, tortured and used for horrific tests, but he escapes, hiding out in Cookietown. When Fate steps in with his mate, an Enforcer for the crash, will he be able to protect Romy from what hunts him?

When Bash, an Enforcer for the crash, hunts down stolen young rhino’s, he gets more than he bargained for. Discovering Romy is his fated mate, is only the beginning of how his life is about to be turned upside down. Two abandoned, rare rhinos, a mate whose past makes him wary of everyone, including Bash, and trying to set up home with the two young stretch Bash tohis limit, leaving everything he holds dear, vulnerable.

What else could possibly go wrong? Everything.

Romy learns the hard way that life is not for the fainthearted. Seeing—what he knows is his mate—with another Little, reenforces just how bad things are. Then life takes a swing in a different direction and Romy finds himself with his mate and the gift of two little boys. Only his happiness is short-lived when Romy’s past comes back to claim him.

Now it’s a race against time, where Bash must work fast to unravel his mate's past to find the answers before it’s too late. Will Fate be so cruel to give Romy hope, then take it away?

Enforcers Little Warrior (Book three of the Little Paws Haven Series) is a paranormal, fated mates, daddy/boy romance where an enforcer learns that courage comes in an adorable small package.

4 out of 5 (very good)

ENFORCER'S LITTLE WARRIOR is the third book in the Little Paws Haven series and really must be read in order due to the overreaching story arc.

We met both Romy and Bash in the previous books but they weren't together. After rescuing some baby rhinos, they set themselves up to look after them. This means that steamy moments are on hold, as most new parents will tell you! Instead, you have cute moments where Bash tries to show Romy how much he means to him. Romy is sweet but is overwhelmed with pretty much everything.

I enjoyed this book but it didn't push my buttons as the previous books have. The arc moves forward at a trot and I felt as though I lost some of the connection with the characters in THIS book to ensure the overall story moves along. We do meet with Cosmo and his mates, but Gabai and Asher are only mentioned, as is Little Paws Haven itself.

Overall, this was a good read and I definitely want to continue with the series. 3.5 rounded up.

Where does one start with about what I do?

I’m a writer, but I’m sure you guessed that by now if you’re reading this, hey?

What you might not know is I’m a little quirky, live in my pj’s most of the time and have cake Saturdays with my sisters every week. I dedicate a little of my time to taking care of my grandbabies and on the dedicated writing days, I like to write an eclectic mix of romance, suspense and paranormal fantasy. In the main, I’ve written gay romance but I’m branching out under another the pen name in the future, so watch this space.

I’ve got a passion for books like you would not believe and it led me down this path and now I’ve over 29 books released and heading towards releasing a whole lot more. The way my head is I never know where I’ll be headed next. I hope you’ll find a little joy in my words and follow me to see where the journey takes me and you.

If you’re interested at some point in 2021 I’ll be writing under the name JP Paton which will be F/M crime and Fantasy two of my favourite things. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

LAYLA DORINE lives among the sprawling prairies of Midwestern America, in a house with more cats than people. She loves hiking, fishing, swimming, martial arts, camping out, photography, cooking, and dabbling with several artistic mediums. In addition, she loves to travel and visit museums, historic, and haunted places.

Layla got hooked on writing as a child, starting with poetry and then branching out, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. Hard times, troubled times, the lives of her characters are never easy, but then what life is? The story is in the struggle, the journey, the triumphs and the falls. She writes about artists, musicians, loners, drifters, dreamers, hippies, bikers, truckers, hunters and all the other folks that she’s met and fallen in love with over the years. Sometimes she writes urban romance and sometimes its aliens crash landing near a roadside bar. When she isn’t writing, or wandering somewhere outdoors, she can often be found curled up with a good book and a kitty on her lap.
