@Archaeolibrary, @debbiereadsbook, @RafeJadison,
At twenty-five, tall, strong Sam White was used to being independent. It was this fierce independence and drive that got him into law school and helped him survive his mother's recent death. It was this same strength and determination that drew fellow law school students and twins, Derek and Wyn, to Sam. What starts as a study buddy friendship soon changes. Although Sam never really questions the feeling he has for his friends, on a drunken night when the twins tell Sam that they are both in love with him, Sam has to rethink everything he's thought about himself, and the twins. After an explosive night trying to work out whatever they were feeling, Sam finds that being gay and being in love with him were not the only things his two best friends have been hiding from him. In a bloody water battle, Sam soon learns that these law students really do become sharks, and that they'll risk their lives to protect him.
This book is intended for adults and should only be read by people over 18 years of age. It contains graphic male on male sex, a man making love to twins, polyamory, and bloody violence.

*insert sigh*
I usually like the different shifters and this is sharks, so I had high hopes, I really did.
But something doesn't quite work for me and I can't figure out what!
Maybe it's the fact that only Sam has a say and Derek and Wyn, twins, don't get a say. Maybe it's because there is no real build up to *this* at all.
It is well written, and what Sam has to say is clear and concise and well delivered. So we get all of his indecision about what he is doing the twins, and how he feels about them and what he wants to do next. We get all of his thoughts on swimming with the sharks and what happens after.
I dunno what it is and for that I'm sorry!
Will I read the next one? I will certainly try. I have questions that are unanswered from this book.

Rafe Jadison is the author of Seduced by Shark Shifters, Seduced by Shark Shifters II: Logan’s Tail, Seduced by Shark Shifters III: Tom’s Turn, Reap This, Blake Blacks Out, and Peter Passenger and the Mothman. He has a great love of the water and of people, and he hopes that shows in his writing. He has lived most of his life by the water and knows just how magical a place it can be, and what wonderful things can happen there. It is this magical association with the water that inspires him to continue writing the By the Water series. In the Oh, So Happy Holiday series, Rafe hopes to celebrate many different people and the wide and wonderful variety of things that they believe in. The Differing Sexuality Series, is designed to showcase those people who romance novels and erotica frequently forget.
